In fall of 2023 Ridgeview called Sam from a lay elder role to be the church's Pastor for Preaching.
Sam has lived most of his life in western Nebraska, growing up in Harrison. He moved to Chadron in 2010 to attend college and play football for CSC. He began attending Ridgeview as a student and was discipled by the church. Sam met his wife, Liz, through Ridgeview. They were married in 2018 and are blessed with three children, Evelyn, Benjamin, and Elianna.
Sam enjoys sports, reading, biking, baking/cooking and spending time with his family.
